Welcome to Modern Dungeon Quarterly, a magazine dedicated to the spaces in which we play. This was a dream hatched one night while helping my boyfriend put his dungeon back together after a visit from the in-laws. It was a seed that sat in my mind for a month before it sprouted and began to bloom, rather insistently, one night. In the course of that night, I had a business plan and the outline of the magazine, as well as article ideas for most of the first year’s worth of issues. I began pulling together resources, friends, venues and government forms. By January, I had everything in motion.
I plan to featured private dungeons and public dungeons as well as furniture and toy artisans. I will be covering all manner of building tips, ambiance, decor, safety, cleaning, furniture and toys.
